Ryan's early political experience encompasses internships with LA Congressmen Charles Boustany and Rodney Alexander. In 2023, he was bestowed the title of Lieutenant in the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians (Washington Mardi Gras), and he has participated as a riding member of the renowned Krewe of Endymion for a decade, among other Carnival affiliations.

Born on April 4, 1985, in Lafayette, Ryan pursued his education at St. Thomas More High School. He commenced his tenure at Haynie and Associates immediately after graduating in 2003. Four years later, Ryan earned a bachelor's degree in political science from LSU's College of Arts and Sciences. During his undergraduate years, he led the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Fraternity and contributed to the Interfraternity Council. Ryan's journey alongside his wife Alana Robert began in August 2012, and they now reside in Baton Rouge with their 9-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. The family actively participates in the community, attending Our Lady of Mercy Church and School.
